At home pedicure tips from Michele!

At home pedicure tips from Michele!

Treat yourself to a pedicure at home to hold your toes over until we can get back to doing nail services in the salon. We know everyone is ready to bring out the sandals with the beautiful weather!

At home pedicure steps, courtesy of nail tech Michele!

  • remove any nail polish

  • soak feet in warm water (add a farmhouse fresh bath fizzer if you're feeling extra luxurious)

  • dry feet one foot at a time

  • trim and push cuticles back (carefully!)

  • clip nails and file to shape them

  • using a foot file or pumice stone, file any rough areas on the feet including heels, toes, and pad of foot

  • once both feet are done put them back in the hot water and use farmhouse fresh coconut beach whipped shea butter body scrub on your feet and legs!

  • rinse feet and legs and apply a moisturizer after drying (try farmhouse fresh honey heel glaze or their vanilla bourbon body oil!)

  • buff nails with buffing block

  • use a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol to clean nails

  • start with a basecoat

  • apply 2 coats of the nail polish in your color choice

  • finish with a topcoat!

We hope Michele's tips give you some guidance as we wait for the green light to be able to perform nail services again, but until then practice pampering yourself and doing self care routines like pedicures!
