My experience with Elayne James today was absolutely amazing and that is an understatement to say the least. What started off as a rough day trying to find a salon in the area with me being somewhat new turned into one of the best experiences I’ve had at a salon by far. I had a consultation down the road with a different salon that quoted me $700 for the exact same service and they were trying to get me to get some other enhancements that I did not need and I felt taken advantage of. I do not want to disrespect the other salons work but that is not realistic for young people who are looking for continuous service with a salon. I walked out of that place feeling nauseated and I did some networking around Middletown to cool off some steam. I was recommended this salon while I was out and about and I decided to stop in. The receptionist was so kind, and when I was prepared and completely fine with waiting for a slot to be opened for a consultation, I was able to get in within 10 minutes!!! I had Keri take a look at my hair and my inspiration, and she was very eager and helpful with making my dreams come true. It just so happened to work out that she was able to do it same day and I am so so happy. She is very knowledgeable and made me feel very confident about my hair goals, and the color came out absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend her and all of her work is stunning. Everything about this experience today was above and beyond. The cut came out gorgeous, the color is vibrant and beautiful, mixing my natural hair with the perfect amount of ash and the products in the salon also smell so good and they’re the good stuff! The salon was very transparent with pricing for services and that is very much appreciated because I am most definitely returning for the long term. I will definitely be back to continue having my hair done by Keri because she is amazing with her work and if you are looking for a salon right now I highly highly recommend Elayne James for all of your needs!

Last week was my first time visiting this salon. I saw some specials posted on their Facebook page and jumped on the opportunity to get a same day appointment. I am so glad I did. Everyone at the salon was very nice. I had Lily as my stylist and felt so at ease with her. We talked about what I wanted and she was so helpful in guiding me to the perfect haircut/length. Definitely will be returning!

I saw Layla for a head spa, facial, and haircut. She was FABULOUS. The head spa and facial were so relaxing and she did an amazing job on my haircut. The salon was lovely. It was quiet and clean and everyone was very friendly and kind. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend them!

Every single person who works here is so kind! They all seem to get along as well and this creates a beautiful atmosphere to be in! Andria is the sweetest and so so talented when it comes to hair!
