What’s hot in fall fashion? Take a peek here, and meet a few people who make the beautiful clothing so much more attractive.

Cacia Batts | Wilmington
Cacia Batts never really intended to be a pageant girl. But once the reigning Mrs. Delaware America got her first taste of it, “I learned that there are brains that come along with the beauty,” she says. “It wasn’t these 6-foot blondes who eat bonbons and buy clothes all day. These are hardworking, career-driven women with children.” Today Batts, 28, is driving toward a career in human services. She works with AIDS Delaware and Epilepsy Foundation of Delaware, and she judges Delaware Teen Idol.

A guru of all things stylish among her friends, Jackie Renaldo Young finds herself in the perfect job: managing a boutique. At White House Black Market in Greenville, Renaldo Young, 32, gets paid to dispense the fashion advice she usually gives for free. “I love fashion,” she says, “from top to bottom, hair to makeup.” The former high school teacher moved to Wilmington from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, when she married an AstraZeneca employee. “I’m still getting used to the idea of being a Delawarean and everyone knowing everyone else.”
